HOSSEGOR TRAVEL GUIDE BY FEDE_GUINOVARTT

Hossegor is one of my favorite places in the world. For someone who has been traveling non-stop, that’s saying a lot! This beautiful town boasts kilometers of pristine beaches with perfect sandbanks, incredible food, a vibrant surfing scene, and a small-town vibe that's hard to beat.

I’m Fede Guinovart, the social media manager of Mallow. I’m originally from Uruguay but have been living in Costa Rica for the past few years. Since meeting my boyfriend, who’s been living in Hossegor for the past 10 years, I’ve been coming here every year for at least 3-4 months. I love to surf, paint, be outside and eat good food – so if you’re into any of these things, you’re going to love the places I’ll share in this travel guide.

Over the past few years, Hossegor has been changing, especially after Covid, when everyone realized that living outside the city was the best gift you could give yourself. Naturally, Hossegor has been growing and becoming cooler but also a bit busier.

I’ve had plenty of time to explore and find the best spots, from grabbing coffee, going for a surf, to finding the best markets. I've done all the legwork for you. Now, everything is tidied up in one place so you don't waste time on your holidays searching for all the cool places.

So, get ready for some fun and make the most of your time in Hossegor. This place has so much to offer!

When should I go?

First things first, when are you planning to come to Hossegor? You might be thinking of the high season, which is great, but let me give you a rundown of what each season has to offer because each one has something special.

Spring (March - May):

Spring in Hossegor is magical. The weather starts to warm up, and the town begins to wake up from its winter slumber. The beaches are less crowded, making it a great time for peaceful walks and enjoying the early surf. The surrounding nature comes alive with blooming flowers and lush greenery. It's perfect for those who love mild weather and quieter surroundings. Plus, many cafes and shops start to open for the season.

Summer (June - August):

Summer is the peak season in Hossegor. The town is buzzing with energy, the beaches are lively, and the surf is up. It's the best time for beach lovers, with long sunny days perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and surfing. However, it’s also the busiest time, so expect larger crowds and book your accommodation well in advance. Summer is also festival season, with lots of events, markets, and outdoor activities.

Autumn (September - November) My favorite:

Autumn is a fantastic time to visit Hossegor. The summer crowds start to thin out, but the weather is still warm enough to enjoy the beach. The surf conditions are often excellent, making it a favorite time for surfers. The fall colors add a beautiful backdrop to your outdoor adventures. September, in particular, is still quite busy with events like the Quiksilver Pro France surf competition.

Winter (December - February):

Winter in Hossegor is the quietest season. The weather is cooler, and the town slows down. While it’s not the best time for beach activities, it's perfect for those who enjoy a peaceful, laid-back atmosphere. It's a great time for coastal walks, enjoying cozy cafes, and exploring the nearby forests. Many restaurants and shops may have reduced hours or be closed, so plan accordingly. However, the winter waves attract hardcore surfers looking for big swells.

No matter when you decide to visit, Hossegor has its own unique charm and plenty to offer. Each season brings something special, so choose the time that best fits your vibe and enjoy all that this beautiful place has to offer!

How to Move Around in Hossegor and Nearby Places

Hossegor isn't just a small town where you can walk everywhere and have all the spots right at your doorstep. If you're planning a visit, you’ll likely want to explore nearby towns like Capbreton and Seignosse. Each of these towns has its own unique beaches, waves, and vibes, and they're all within a 10-15 minute drive from each other.

When you visit Hossegor, you won’t just stay in the town itself but will want to move around to truly experience everything the area has to offer. So, be prepared to explore and move around.

By Car

Honestly, having a car is a game-changer. No matter where you're staying, a car lets you hit up all the different beaches, markets, bars, and cafes without a hitch. It’s the easiest way to explore nearby towns like Seignosse and Capbreton, which are just a short drive away.

By Electric Bicycle

If you’re up for some adventure and eco-friendly travel, electric bikes are so nice. These things are super popular and for a good reason. Hossegor is totally bike-friendly, with plenty of paths and routes that make riding around a breeze. Wheter you're solo or with your family, biking is a fantastic way to soak in the sights. The view between neighborhoods and towns are so pretty, you'll want to take your time and enjoy the ride.

One of the best parts about Hossegor is its natural beauty. There's so much greenery, forest areas, lakes and farmland to explore. Whether you're driving or biking, make sure to take different routes. You'll pass through lush forests, charming farms, and of course, the stunning beaches and dunes. It's like a nature lover's dream out here.

So, whether you decide to drive or hop on a bike, make sure you take the time to enjoy the beautiful scenery and chill vibes. Getting around Hossegor and its surroundings is part of the adventure. Have fun and enjoy the ride!

CAFES

Hossegor area is full of cute little cafes where you can enjoy your mornings after a surf session on a sunny terrace. Here are a few favorites:

Volt Cafe Brulerie

📸 IG: voltcafebrulerie

When in Hossegor, the coffee scene starts at Volt Café Brûlerie. This gem is a must-visit for coffee enthusiasts, serving up some of the best specialty brews in town. Imagine yourself sipping on a delicious coffee while lounging on their sunny terrace – the perfect post-surf chill spot or a cozy nook to get some work done on your laptop.

The vibe here is simply lovely, and the staff? Absolutely top-notch and super friendly. While they no longer serve full meals, you can still enjoy a selection of scrumptious pastries. Don't miss out on their matcha cookies and superb lattes!

Volt Café is pet-friendly too, so feel free to bring your furry friend along. And if you're looking to bring a piece of Volt home, they sell their amazing coffee and some cool coffee makers. Pro tip: It can get pretty busy during the summer, so plan accordingly.

Located near some great surf shops, Volt Café Brûlerie makes for a perfect pit stop during your shopping spree. Pop in, grab a coffee, and enjoy the laid-back, surfy vibes that make Hossegor so special.

If you’re exploring further, check out their other locations in Capbreton and Anglet. Each spot offers the same delightful experience, with cozy atmospheres and friendly faces ready to serve you a fantastic coffee. Whether you’re chilling by the sea in Capbreton or soaking up the coastal charm of Anglet, Volt Café Brûlerie is your go-to spot for a caffeine fix and a dose of good vibes.

Mango Tree

📸 IG: lemangotree

Looking for the ultimate chill spot to soak up the sun and munch on some killer healthy eats? Mango Tree is where it’s at! This rad little food truck whips up amazing veggie burritos, açaí bowls, and the freshest natural juices. The girls running the show? Absolute sweethearts.

Here’s the best part: Mango Tree is just a hop, skip, and a jump from Hossegor Lake and this super lush green park. Perfect for lounging, lunching, and living your best picnic life. The park’s got plenty of space and even a playground for the kiddos, so it’s a win for everyone. And get this – Mango Tree hooks you up with free picnic blankets. Just don’t forget to return them.

Heads up though, this spot is a local fave. Expect a bit of a wait on sunny days and during the high season. But no worries, you’ll have a stunning lake view to keep you company. Pro tip: try their juices and açaí bowl – they’re out of this world.

So grab your sunnies, round up your crew, and head to Mango Tree for some epic food, chill vibes, and unbeatable scenery.

Slow Cafe

📸 IG: slowhossegor

Welcome to vegan paradise, whether you're vegan or not! Slow Café is my absolute favorite spot in Hossegor. This cozy little haven is all about healthy, delicious food, nestled next to a supermarket packed with healthy goodies – it's just, well, magnifique as the French would say.

Step inside and get ready to be wowed by their menu. From mushroom coffees to juices, smoothies, pastries, and bowls, everything here is on point. If you’re looking to eat healthy without compromising on flavor, this is your spot. The variety of mushroom drinks is particularly mind-blowing. While they often taste like mud elsewhere, here they taste like a hug from Mother Earth – no kidding! My go-to? The chagaccino with a shot of coffee. It's perfect for a productive morning at the café.

My boyfriend, a surf instructor, swears by their Slow Bowl. It’s super nutritious and perfect for a quick lunch break on the beach. Slow Café uses only seasonal and organic products, ensuring everything is fresh and bursting with flavor. They also strive to be zero waste, which is amazing!

Yes, it's a bit pricier than some spots, but the quality is top-notch and absolutely worth it. Plus, if you're used to U.S. prices, a great salad bowl for 15 euros is pretty reasonable.

Julian and Laura, the passionate owners, opened Slow Café five years ago and have been smashing it ever since. They introduce a new dish or salad every week, keeping things fresh and exciting. I can’t recommend this place enough. Here’s hoping they keep doing what they’re doing because they are absolutely killing it.

Wasted Talent Cafe

If you're in Hossegor, you’ve got to check out Wasted Talent Café. It’s this super cool spot on Avenue Paul Lahary that perfectly mixes a coffee shop with a trendy retail store. Seriously, it’s like the best of both worlds.

The place looks awesome – think sleek, modern design with some really cool surf artwork and memorabilia. They’ve got a nice outdoor seating area too, great for soaking up those chill Hossegor vibes.

The coffee here is top-notch, and they also have a great selection of teas and fresh juices. If you’re feeling peckish, their menu has tasty pastries, sandwiches, and salads. Perfect for a quick bite or a brunch.

Now, here’s the cool part: the café is combined with a store that sells really stylish stuff like clothing, sunglasses, and more. It’s a great place to pick up some new gear while you enjoy your coffee.

The vibe at Wasted Talent is super relaxed and friendly. It’s a great spot to work on your laptop, catch up with friends, or just hang out. They often have events like live music and surf film screenings, which is really sweet.

WHERE TO EAT

Shelter Les Estagnots

Shelter Les Estagnots is exactly what its name implies – a beautiful shelter for after a great morning or day at the beach. With most of the tables set outdoors, it keeps that laid-back holiday vibe alive.

Their menu is a culinary journey around the world, offering everything from oysters to pad Thai. We tried the cold pad Thai with a small beer, and it was the perfect combo after a refreshing morning on the beach.

The best part about Shelter Les Estagnots? It's just 200 meters away from Estagnots Beach but tucked away enough to remain a bit of a hidden gem. This makes it a perfect spot to relax without the crowds.

Spot Palace

📸 IG: spotpalace

Spot Palace is an insanely fun and photogenic café and bar that totally understands vibes. Bursting with colors and murals, this place is all about aesthetic appeal. They serve everything from coffee to burgers and salads and are open all day. At night, you can find good beer and sometimes live music.

I went there for breakfast and work, and from the smoothie to the eggs in a bun, everything was super good. The food looks simple but tastes on point. They have a spacious interior and a lovely terrace outside, perfect for summer days.

Spot Palace is a fantastic place to go with friends, grab some beers, and soak up the fun vibe. It's located next to a lot of cool stores and surf outlets where you can find your favorite surf and skate brands. Plus, they host a ton of live events like block parties every Tuesday and surf movie nights. They are really mindful about their community, which I love, and they keep bringing amazing events for everyone – always with good music, good food, and such a nice vibe.

La Petite Table

So, we’ve talked about some amazing spots, and now I have to tell you about La Petite Table in Capbreton. If you’re craving some authentic French cuisine, this cozy little gem is where you need to be. The food here is absolutely delicious, showcasing real French flavors with fresh, local ingredients.

The vibe is super welcoming, perfect for a relaxed evening out. Located right by the port, you’ll enjoy lovely views while you dine. Their hours are limited, from 19:30 to 21:30, so make sure to book in advance. It's a bit pricier, but totally worth it for the quality and experience. Trust me, you'll love it!

Le Surfing

📸 IG: lesurfingsince1988

Le Surfing is right next to Estagnots parking, making it a super convenient spot for a chill lunch before or after the beach. The food is alright, nothing to rave about, but the view is absolutely gorgeous. The place is really cute and perfect for a laid-back lunch or grabbing a few beers at sunset. The atmosphere is relaxed and the scenery is beautiful, making it a great place to unwind and enjoy the day.

Louvine

📸 IG: louvinecollective

Louvine is a small, cute spot offering poke bowls, salads, and sandwiches. It’s perfect for when you want to grab lunch on the go or take it to the beach. I often swing by after my surf when I’m starving and need to eat ASAP. They have a link on their Instagram where you can order while driving there and pick it up when it’s ready. Super convenient if you don’t have much time!

Monsieur Mouette

📸 IG: monsieurmouette

Monsieur Mouette is a lovely restaurant in the Capbreton area, right by the port, offering a beautiful view of the boats. I personally love this place for a nice Sunday lunch under the sun, sipping an Aperol Spritz and enjoying good food with friends. The restaurant is quite spacious, but I recommend booking a table a day in advance just to be safe. The food is good, the drinks are great, and the vibe is perfect for a relaxing meal.

Kbane Golf de Seignosse

This spot is perfect for a sunset hangout! The bar/restaurant is next to the Seignosse Golf Course, where you can enjoy an Aperol spritz with friends or family. They even have their own private area where you can try some long shots (I don’t know much about golf, but it was pretty fun to sip beers and find out just how tricky golfing can be!). With live music almost every day in the summer and plenty of space for kids to play, it’s super family-friendly.

Hory Gastronomie - Private Chef

📸 IG: hory_gastronomie

Hory Gastronomie brings delicious home catering to the Landes, the Basque Country, and all of Nouvelle-Aquitaine. If you really want to have a special dinner or party, Chef Anthony Hory is your guy! He’s passionate about selecting the freshest, tastiest ingredients from the region, perfectly in tune with the seasons. Everything is on point, and his menu is to die for. Be prepared to have an incredible experience and enjoy!

Oysters

If you go to Hossegor, you have to try some oysters for lunch with a good white wine while enjoying the beautiful view of the lake. Most of the oyster restaurants are located here, including spots like Chez Jerome and La Pauper. They all offer a similar experience, and honestly, it's kind of a ritual to have those long summer lunches where the white wine just keeps flowing.

These oysters are super fresh. I’m not the best oyster connoisseur, but I like them. They’re quite good, affordable, and a lovely way to spend a lunch in Hossegor. Just be aware that you might need to wait in line, but it’s worth it for the experience!

Glaces Romane

The best ice cream in Hossegor! Situated right in the middle of town, this ice cream shop is always busy. Don’t be afraid of the long queue – it’s totally worth it. The flavors are delicious, and it’s the perfect treat after a day at the beach.

Where To Buy Wine

If you're like me and love wine, head to Le Chai d'Hossengor. This is a large store dedicated to wine and champagne, offering many options and a wide range of prices. The staff here are incredibly friendly and super helpful. They can explain everything you might want to know. Just tell them the occassion, the food you're pairing it with, and your budgete, and they'll help you find the perfect wine.

MARKETS

Marche de Seignosse Le Penon

Open Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursday from 9 AM to 1 PM, Marche de Seignosse Le Penon is one of my absolute favorite spots. There's nothing better than hitting the waves for a morning surf and then heading over to the market.

This lively market is a vibrant hub of activity, full of colors, scents, and the bustling energy of vendors and shoppers alike. The selection of local produce, artisanal goods, and crafts is fantastic. From juicy, sun-ripened fruits and fresh vegetables to an array of cheeses, cured meats, and freshly baked bread, your taste buds are in for a treat. This market offers a true taste of the area with its local specialties – they’re simply unmissable.

My routine? I always make a beeline for my favorite Indian food stand. There's nothing like grabbing some delicious Indian food, along with local cheese, olives, and prosciutto, to take home. And a word to the wise – be careful with those free cheese samples because they work! It's impossible to try them and not end up buying some, haha!

But it’s not just about the food. You can also find handmade jewelry, clothing, and other crafts that make for perfect souvenirs. One spot sells beautiful beach and market bags made of wicker and super nice textiles. These bags are super cute, perfect for a day at the beach or a trip to the market, and quite affordable, ranging from 18 to 60 euros.

What makes Marché de Seignosse Le Penon really special is its location. Just a short stroll from the beautiful Le Penon Beach, you can easily combine a morning of shopping with an afternoon of sun and surf.

The atmosphere at the market is always buzzing with a community vibe, making it a fun and engaging experience whether you’re a local or just visiting. It’s a lovely market to go to, soak up the local culture, enjoy delicious food, and find some great treasures.

Marche de Soorts-Hossegor

Thursday, Friday, and Sunday: 9:00-13:00

This market is really nice, quite big, and full of life and people. You can find a variety of stands selling clothing,  cermamics (if you are looking for cute ceramics that are made in the area you should check out @b_ceramic_) accessories, shoes, bags, and textiles. Prices vary, but you can find great deals. The market is in the center of Hossegor, making it a lovely walk after breakfast. I recommend going around 10 AM to avoid the crowds and have a more relaxed experience.

There’s a paid parking lot just one block away, which is super useful because the center of Hossegor gets quite busy during high season, and parking can be a real headache. Be aware that the police are quick to issue tickets for bad parking or if you don’t pay for your parking spot.

Flea Market Hossegor

Parc Rosny - Every Tuesday: 8:00 - 17:00

This is a cute and pretty small flea market. I personally love it because it’s at Parc Rosny, so it’s a great plan before or after grabbing a bite at the Mango Tree. The market has unique and interesting pieces, mostly antiques and home decor. You can find some crazy, unique stuff here. If you want to buy something with a story and soul, you might find it at this charming flea market.

Extra Tip

Honestly, most of the food markets around Hossegor can be a bit pricey. They're beautiful and great for a stroll, and perfect for picking up some cheese and good wine. But if you want to buy your veggies and fruit directly from the farmers, you should go to "La Ferme Villenave". They're the best - straight from the earth to your plate, and way cheaper than the markets or supermarkets.

This place is our go-to for weekly stock-ups. I highly recommend their sorbets! They have some funky flavors if you’re adventurous, but if you want a classic that never disappoints, try their pistachio and lemon sorbet. OMG, so good. They’ll give you a carton box to take your fruit and veggies home. It might be a bit out of the way, but it’s totally worth it.

PLAGES AND SURF

Alright, let's talk about the surf. Hossegor is the place to be if you're into catching waves. Whether you're a newbie or a seasoned pro, you'll find the perfect spot here.

Hossegor is known for its killer waves. The main beaches are ideal for intermediate and advanced surfers, but beginners can find their sweet spots on the outskirts. Be ready to surf in a wetsuit unless you visit in August. Personally, I stick to a wetsuit most of the time because I’m all about warm water, but in July and August, you’ll see folks in shorts or bikinis.

The best time to hit Hossegor is from September to December when the big swells roll in. Surfing from June to September is still fun, but the waves are smaller, and the beaches are busier. Winter surfing means breaking out the thick wet suits, boots and gloves. So gear up, enjoy the waves, and make the most of your time in Hossegor!

Seignosse Area

Seignosse is one of my favorite areas because it’s a bit more chill than Hossegor and has great waves during small swells, perfect for summer. The sandbanks work well with every tide, but keep in mind they move every year, so conditions can vary each season. When big swells come, it can't hold the size, so if it’s too big, it’s better to head to a more sheltered spot. For beginners and longboarders, low tide is best due to the flat sandbanks. You can always walk or ride your electric bike between beach accesses to avoid the crowds. Just be prepared to encounter some nudists along the way – viva la France!

  • Le Penon: My go-to beach. With fewer people than Hossegor and great sandbanks, it’s perfect for a surf day. The current can be strong, but the waves are worth it. I love that it has a big parking lot next to the beach, which is super helpful since not all beaches around here have that. There's a small skate park between the beach and the parking lot that I absolutely love. It’s always buzzing with kids and friendly groups enjoying a family-friendly skate session. There are surf schools and places to grab a bite, plus a bar at the entrance for snacks and drinks. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy an Aperol Spritz while watching the waves or waiting for your kids to finish their surf class. The bar might not have the best food, but it’s a great place to sip a cold drink and enjoy the day.
  • Les Estagnots: A beautiful beach behind big sand dunes. The waves here are really nice, with a more intense shore break if you're into that. There's also a long peak for longboarding, depending on the sandbanks that change every year. The beach is stunning, with a few places nearby to grab lunch or dinner. The parking lot is small, and you might get stuck waiting for a spot, so it's often better to park a few blocks away to avoid the hassle.

Capbreton Area

Capbreton can get really crowded, but that’s because the waves can get really good and the scenery is beautiful with its buildings and blockhouses. Be prepared to share the lineup with lots of surfers hungry for waves. Typically, the waves here are smaller compared to northern spots, but they can be epic if the swell is good. At high tide, you can find barrels close to the shore, which is super fun. Near the port, you have more sheltered spots.

  • Le Prévent: This beach is pretty busy because it’s near the town center. Parking here can be a real pain, so be prepared to circle around a few times before finding a spot. This beach isn’t as extensive as other beaches in the area. You’ll find lots of people sunbathing and a mixed level of surfers in the lineup, as the waves here aren’t as strong.
  • Les Océanides: A more wild and open beach with big, beautiful sand dunes, perfect for long walks. It’s not the best for swimming since it can be a bit too wild, but it’s great for soaking up nature. There’s a big, comfortable parking area at the beach access and a dedicated parking area for camper vans.
  • Santocha: This is a beautiful and wild beach. With a big parking lot at the entrance, it’s a great spot to check the waves from the top of the dune. The waves here can get heavy with winter swells. The area is really picturesque, with views of the blockhouses left over from WWII. There’s a small area for swimming that’s supervised, but if you’re with kids, be extra cautious when the waves are strong.

Hossegor Area

Hossegor beaches are the most famous around the area. It’s home to world-class waves like La Nord and La Gravière, known for their heavy beach breaks that aren’t suitable for beginners when the surf is solid. The conditions can range from epic to challenging, requiring a high level of surfing.

  • La Gravière: Considered one of the best beach breaks in France. This beach offers perfect, heavy barrels ideal for experienced surfers. If you’re not at that level, no worries – on swell days, you can sit back on the beach with a few cold drinks and enjoy the show. The beach itself is beautiful, with a lovely wooden walkway. Nearby, there are plenty of spots to grab some food or drinks.
  • La Sud: This beach is located between the port of Capbreton and Plage Centrale. It features a beautiful path for walking along the beach. It feels more urban and doesn’t have the immense dunes that the Hossegor area is known for, but it’s still a great spot to relax and enjoy the water.

Surf Classes

Hossegor and the surrounding spots are packed with perfect waves for all surf levels. Whether you’re a beginner or advanced, there’s a beach for you. The area is full of surf schools, and they’re generally pretty similar. However, I recommend Seignosse Surf School because I know them firsthand, and they have years of experience.

But if you want something more personalized than a 10-person class, I’ve got to recommend my boyfriend Dimitri and his team of Surf Xplore.

Surf Xplore

Ig: surfxplore

Dimitri has over 10 years of experience and really knows his stuff. They offer personalized classes tailored to your level, whether you’re a complete beginner or looking for advanced coaching and video analysis.

French surf instructors go through some of the toughest training in the world (no kidding, not everyone can teach surf in France and they have the most complete degree), so you know you’re in good hands. It’s also great if you just want someone to help you navigate the new waves and spots. Dimitri is really good at what he does and he is really passionate about surfing, so he will do his best to help you improve while making sure you have a great time.

So, if you’re keen to learn or take your surfing to the next level, definitely give Surf Xplore a go. He is the absolute best (you could describe him as a golden retriever, really). Enjoy the waves and make the most of your time in Hossegor!

Yoga

Free Bird Studio

I recently discovered this yoga center that I absolutely love called Free Bird Studio in the Seignosse area. The owner and teacher, Sidney, is wonderful and she leads all the yoga classes herself. You can choose from vinyasa flow, hatha with meditation, kundalini, and even sound bath sessions. The quality of the classes is top notch, and the setting is magical - you'll practice next to her lush garden, full of greenery and chickens.

The place has an amazing energy, and booking classes online is super easy. A single class is 15 euros, but if you buy a package, it’s cheaper. Just don’t forget to book in advance because her classes can fill up quickly.

Skateparks

The area is full of skateparks, which I find so cool. Most of them are buzzing with kids and families spending their afternoons together. If you're like me and prefer to skate alone, try going during school hours or after sunset to have the park mostly to yourself. It’s a great way to enjoy some peaceful skate time and avoid the crowds.

Where to Stay

So, I come to Hossegor every year and stay at my boyfriend's house in Seignosse, which means I’m not super familiar with all the accommodation options firsthand. I prefer not to recommend places I haven’t tried myself. However, I do have a few tips that might help!

Book in Advance:

If you're coming in the summer, definitely book your stay well in advance. Accommodations fill up quickly and prices can be higher during peak season.

Timing:

To save a bit of money but still enjoy the summer vibes, consider visiting at the beginning or end of the season. The weather is still great, the vibe is relaxed, and prices are a bit lower. Plus, there are fewer crowds, which I personally prefer.

Nearby Towns:

Hossegor is surrounded by charming small towns like Seignosse and Capbreton. These areas often have great spots to stay that might be easier to find and cheaper during the summer.

Van Life:

If you’re into camping or traveling by camper van, this area is perfect. There are plenty of beautiful and affordable camping spots. Just remember to book your spot in advance during the high season, as van life is quite popular here in the summer.

Thank you so much for getting this far. This guide was made with real love for the places mentioned. I’m sure there are plenty of spots I missed because I haven’t tried them yet. I only recommend what I use and try firsthand, so I hope this helps with your next trip to Hossegor. If you have any doubts, please feel free to send us a DM. We’ll be happy to help or recommend specific places based on what you’re looking for!

Stay Updated

We will be adding new spots soon, so don’t forget to check the guide every once in a while or subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know about the new spots around Hossegor and the upcoming travel guides.
